Credit & Grading
Grading Policies
Criteria: Academic performance is assessed according to the following criteria or at the instructor¡¯s discretion.
        Exams        Assignments        Attendance        Class Participation
Scale: Generally, course performance is graded on the following 100-point scale:
¡Ø Grading at ISC is based on an Absolute Assessment system.
Credit Transfer
Credit Transferability It is not guaranteed that credits earned at KU ISC are transferable to a student¡¯s home institution. The academic authorities of the home institution will assess credit transferability of a particular course based on its policies.
Procedure Students should determine with the appropriate academic authorities at their home institution the correct procedures for credit transfer.
Course Syllabi Students usually will need to refer to the uploaded syllabi on the ISC website to determine credit transferability to their home institution. The syllabi of courses will be taken down from the website after the program ends, so they must be downloaded and printed if deemed necessary.
Transcripts
Sealed transcripts will be sent to the mailing address provided in the application form via airmail approximately two weeks after the completion of the program.
1)  Changing mailing address (by application deadline): Students can change their address at Change Application
2)  Shipment: Transcripts will be sent in late August. International mail usually takes 2-3 weeks to be delivered. You may request express courier service such as Fedex or EMS by paying on additional fee by contacting isc@korea.ac.kr
