Local, long distance and international phone calls can be made from the public phones on the ground floor. Students are notified of incoming phone calls through the interphone located in each room. Outgoing phone calls cannot be made through the inter-phones.

There are numerous restaurants and snack shops on or near the campus, offering inexpensive and diversified cuisines. Among off-campus restaurants, there are many Western fast-food places, such as McDonald¡¯s and Pizza Hut, but you should not come to Korea and live just on Western food. With a little experimentation, you will find many fine dining places to eat, which suit your taste, mood and pocketbook.

Traveler¡¯s checks are one of the easy ways to carry money to pay for additional expenses while staying in Korea. Also, carrying cash with you can be one of the most convenient ways to pay for things in Korea as well. Personal checks are not acceptable.

Health insurance must be purchased to meet unexpected expenses. Proof of health insurance must be presented as a part of admissions requirements. International Students who fail to present proof of health insurance will have their registration cancelled and will not be allowed to attend summer session.
